Planning Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES

Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for planning engineers to be engaged on a permanent basis, based in Bridgwater 4 days per week.
 
Key Skills & Tools
3D/4D tools: Navisworks, Synchro
Scheduling: P6 schedule analysis
Data handling: Excel, Power BI, Microsoft Office
Database management

?? Core Responsibilities
Support construction sequence planning from manufacturing to commissioning
Review schedules, material/equipment readiness, and resolve sequencing issues
Oversee delivery work packs and interface data procedures

? Knowledge & Experience
EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) integration
Planning, programming, and progress monitoring
Construction methods, equipment, and labour
Basic estimating principles
Strong communication skills
