Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sub Project Manager to join the TDA Project Management Team. This role offers the chance to become part of an established team delivering an emerging project at Sellafield.

Working within a dynamic and forward-thinking environment, you will contribute to a project of national importance, collaborating closely with the Asset Care Lead, multi-disciplinary project teams, and the client to support successful project delivery in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Initiation: Define project scope, objectives, schedules, resource requirements, and governance arrangements to support successful project delivery.

Stakeholder Management: Act as a key point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and effective expectation management throughout the project lifecycle.

Team Leadership & Coordination: Coordinate and support cross-functional teams, ensuring roles, responsibilities, and deliverables are clearly understood and achieved.

Budget & Resource Management: Assist in the development, monitoring, and control of project budgets and resource plans to ensure efficient delivery.

Risk & Issue Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks while proactively managing issues, opportunities, and change requests.

Schedule & Quality Control: Monitor project progress against agreed milestones and ensure deliverables meet required quality standards.

Communication & Reporting: Produce project reports, performance updates, and maintain accurate project documentation.

Compliance & Governance: Ensure project activities are undertaken in accordance with company procedures, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Experience & Skills Required

Minimum 3 years' experience in a project management role within the engineering, construction, or nuclear sectors.

Strong understanding of project reporting, planning, and delivery methodologies.

Experience working closely with planning and cost engineers to drive project performance and reporting.

Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

A proactive, positive attitude with the ability to build effective working relationships across multi- disciplinary teams. 

Experience with Integrated Work Management (IWM) is desirable.

Working Arrangements
Full-time position, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday).
