RESPONSIBILITIES
To work as part of the Silos MSSS SEP1&2 CE&I design team:- providing site-based design front line support to the Commissioning teams,
- delivering, supporting the delivery of others and checking detailed designs/changes to meet functional and business needs.
Essential:
Academic Qualification: Minimum - HND
Professional Qualification: Minimum - Incorporated Engineer
Security Clearance: SC
Hours: 37 hours over 4½ days a week
Location: Working 3 days a week minimum on the MSSS plant.
When not required on plant, to work 3 days week minimum out of a West Cumbria based design office.
To attend Hinton House, Warrington, Cheshire approx. 1 day per month.
Experience: Minimum 5 years successfully delivering as a CE&I Senior Design Engineer:
- working on external multidiscipline projects,
- providing site-based front line design support to a Commissioning team,
- delivering, supporting the delivery of others and checking detailed designs/changes,
- with a working understanding of the following external Standards for:
- PES based Control Systems
- Process Instruments
Willingness to support early career Engineers
Desirable:
Experience: Minimum 7 years successfully delivering as a CE&I Senior Design Engineer:
- working on external and/or SL multidiscipline projects,
- providing site-based front line design support to a Commissioning team,
- delivering, supporting the delivery of others and checking detailed designs/changes,
- with a working understanding of the following SL Engineering Standards for:
- PES based Control Systems
- Process Instruments
