We're working with an established Cumbrian engineering firm who are looking to appoint an experienced Finance Assistant on a 12 month, fixed contract basis. You'll assist senior team members across all aspects of the companies finance function including reporting, accounts and payroll.
We're looking for someone with prior experience in a similar role and ideally AAT Level 3 qualified or qualified by experience who is available to start in November 2019. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience within an exciting Cumbrian engineering company. You will be based full time from the clients site on the outskirts of Carlisle.
- Assist in the monthly production of accounts
- Paying of invoices
- Monthly ledgers
- Daily reconciliation/banking
- Production of invoices
- Resolving any supplier queries/set-ups
- Assist in month and year end
- Inputting payroll submissions
- General office duties
Rate is negotiable depending on experience and level of qualification.
